The rebuild is half the job. The claim is the other half.
WORKPROS is a licensed general contractor in Columbus, Georgia. When fire, water or storm damage hits, we document the loss, meet your adjuster on site, and put the property back — so nothing gets missed and you are not sorting it out alone.
Illustration — your scope is built from what we find on site
One contractor, four very different clients.
WORKPROS has run residential, multifamily, commercial and institutional work out of Columbus since 2006. The trades are the same. The paperwork is not.
Your house is damaged and there is a claim open.
We inspect, scope the loss properly, meet the adjuster, and rebuild. You get one contract and one number to call.
Insurance & hazard claims → Property & asset managersYou have units to turn and buildings to keep standing.
Turns, make-readies, capital projects and ongoing maintenance across single-family rentals, apartments and commercial space.
Property management → Servicers & authoritiesYou answer to investors, auditors and code enforcement.
Field services built for compliance: documented scopes, photo evidence, municipality coordination and vendor requirements met.
Default services →Six steps between the damage and the last coat of paint.
Most of what goes wrong on a claim goes wrong early, in the documentation. This is the order we work in.
Inspection
We walk the property and photograph every affected area — including what is easy to miss underneath: framing, sheathing, insulation, HVAC and contents.
Scope of loss
The scope gets written line by line in insurance-approved estimating software at your carrier's own pricing, so there are no price discrepancies to argue about later.
Adjuster walk-through
We meet your adjuster at the property and go through the scope together. Disagreements get settled on site with photographs instead of over the phone three weeks later.
Supplements
Tear-out exposes damage nobody could see from the driveway, and code sometimes requires an upgrade. When it does, we document it and file the supplement.
Rebuild
Our crews do the work under one contract and one schedule — mitigation, structure, finishes and contents back in place.
Depreciation release
We send the carrier the completion documentation they need so your recoverable depreciation can be released.
Licensed for the whole job, not one piece of it.
